“All Different-All Equal” Campaign

Within the “All Different-All Equal” Campaign Azerbaijani-American Youth Social Association organized Seminar entitled “All Equal-Not Indifferent-Youth Participation in dissemination the main components of All-Different-All Equal Campaign” with the financial support of Council of Europe, European Youth Foundation. Seminar has been organized on 15-18 April, 2006 in Baku, “Ganclik Youth Tourism and Resource Center”. In the opening ceremony and in presentation of Seminar participated representative of Ministry of Youth and Sport Mr. Farhad Haciyev, executive director of Council of Europe-Information Centre Mr. Ilqar Ibrahimli, representatives of youth NGOs and young participants of Seminar.

In the opening of Seminar, Chairman of Azerbaijani-American Youth Social Association Mr. Vugar Ahmadov noted about the goal and priorities of Seminar which is consisting of dissemination the main components of “All Different-All Equal” campaign based on social, employment and discrimination issues among the young people from Azerbaijani rural parts.

The guests and participants of Seminar noted about the importance of implementation such project which its turn involve the active youth to the campaign for raising their awareness and fostering initiatives against the cases like intolerance, national, ethnic, cultural, religious, social discrimination, gender inequality and discrimination of social and employment rights of minority young people through non-formal education for educating and practicing them on the main components of “All Different-All Equal” campaign.

At the end of event, executive director of Council of Europe-Information Centre Mr. Ilqar Ibrahimli presented to the participants attention about the Council of Europe mission, priorities and has been presented film about the Council of Europe.

After, the Seminar continued its work.
