Youth Social Association are implementing the new project
with funding support of Open Society Institute-Assistance
Foundation entitled “Increasing the role of youth in organization
of effectiveness of free time for young people in regions”.
Azerbaijani-American Youth Social Association are implementing
the new project with the funding support of Open Society
Institute-Assistance Foundation which is consist of organizing
training courses in the 6 regions of Azerbaijan- in Fizuli,
Quba, Barda, Masalli, Qabala and Salyan districts.
Lack of simple conditions and resources for organization
of effectiveness of free time among the youth as well
as involvement in cultural and public activity, lack of
sport complexes, cultural centers and intellectual resource
centers in the above mentioned districts are the main
reasons of the growing of unemployment problem among the
young people. The project aimed at providing consultation
training services to the young people on the ways and
prospective in organization effective free time in the
regions.
During the trainings youth has been educated on the below
topics:
- Increasing the role of young people in the public
life
- The ways and opportunities in effective organization
of free time of young people
- The youth advocacy-Legislation side
- Establishment of youth institutions as the tool of
youth advocacy
- The role of young people in the strengthening the
civil society
- Language and vocational skills of the youth
- Youth skills on information access network to employment
opportunities
- Training on management of modern technologies and
computer programs
- Organization of effectiveness of free time among the
young people
- To encourage active youth participation and integration
into the civil society initiatives
The project plays an important role in aware of the young
people about the possibilities of providing daily effective
employment initiatives and to organize an affective free
time. As the result of the trainings the different youth
groups in the project districts initiated in establishment
of youth organizations which will help in providing sustainable
employment of youth initiatives. With this purpose the
project staff provided the young people with the needed
consultation services and trainings.
During the project implementation the beneficiaries has
been provided with the newly published enlightening booklets
and toolkits where has been reflected detailed information
on the projects and training materials.
